Benromach 10 Jahre 0,7 l smokehead High Voltage – High tensionThe 10 year old Benromach matures for 9 years in Bourbon (80 percent) and Sherry (20 percent) casks. For its final maturation, it undergoes a one year finishing in casks that previously matured a sweet Oloroso Sherry. Tasting Nose: Thick, oily and creamy. Brine, stewed ham, woody, campfire, lots of smoked cheese, dried apricots, fresh pasta. Palate: Woody (like in a sauna), apricot, raisins and lots of BBQ notes. Coffee and toffee with a gentle smoke
